I used Julie's book for 6 months to teach the Gospels in a weekly Gospel Doctrine Sunday School Class. It was a great help to me as a teacher. Personally, I found it a great addition to my own efforts to "think" the scriptures. Julie's questions were very thought provoking. She included scholarly thoughts, but allowed and encouraged me (the reader) to come to my own conclusions regarding the scriptures I read. She also included some tidbits of historical background that aided me in my understanding of the scriptures. I only wished it had continued through the rest of the New Testament! Julie, we're awaiting a sequel!
