My favorite book in the world!,

This review is from: The Search for Snout (Paperback)
The search for snout is the best book in the universe. I liked the way bruce coville left you with like 11 mysteries in this book. Another thing I liked is that this book is so good there are 212 pages and I read it in a week!! But if you fully want to understand this book I would suggest reading "Aliens Ate my Homework" and then reading "I Left my Sneakers in Dimension X."

I LOVED IT!,

Bruce Coville writes wonderful books that can captivate any audiance, no matter the age. I was so glad when this came out, I'd been waiting to find out what happened to Rod and all of my other favorite characters. Though Grakker, the Tar, and Phil, and Rod's father aren't prominant in the book, its still a great ending. (Or is it? If Bruce keeps writting them, I'll keep reading them!!)

This review is from: Bruce Coville's Alien Adventures: The Search for Snout (Hardcover)
We have read and re-read this book to our boys (ages 5 and 8). They love the story line and the ever deepening plot. We do too. "No matter how deep you go, there's always another level." This is one of several Bruce Covill books we have read together as a family. It is the one we most often come back to. The entire Alien Adventures series is fun to read for parents and kids alike. The stories are well written and the language is great for reading out loud. Lessons abound in the story, but they are subtle and do not get in the way of a well told tale. I strongly recommend this book for parents and kids. I only hope that the current popularity of horror stories for kids does not delay the next installment in the Alien Adventures series.

This review is from: The Search for Snout (Rod Allbright and the Galactic Patrol) (Paperback)
I loved this entire franchise of books growing up but this one is the fastest paced of the whole bunch. The title of the book basically explains the general outline of the book so I won't go into plot details, but this book is equally as imaginative as the previous 2 and the characters continue to gather more depth with each page. A very smart childrens book and I hope more people expose their children to it because I loved it when I was a kid (and still love it now for that matter)

The Best Book I've Ever Read!!! This book so good it should be priceless,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Search for Snout (Paperback)
You may say, "Why do I want to read a book with a title about searching for a snout?" Well you're wrong. This book is about a kid named Rod Allbright. He went on a journey in space with some aliens! Can you believe it? Aliens! They had gone a mission. Now that the mission is over, Rod Allbright is about to go home. His mom and his twin little brother and sister is overjoyed when they see him, but there is terrible news. Snout, who is an alien friend of Rod Allbright, is missing! Now Rod has to go back to space and find Snout. When I first read the book I thought it was boring, but it's the greatest book I had ever read. It stays interesting from beginning to end. This book has inspired me to make my own book and become an author. It showed me I can be a writer about anything I would like to write about. This showed when I was interested in the book and when I couldn't stop reading. When you cant stop reading, then you know it's a good book! Creativity is what makes a book good. The author puts a lot of dialogue so it makes the book more interesting. I tell you this because we are born with creativity, and when reading this book you can picture yourself in the story. This book is for everyone but mostly for middle school students such as myself. This is also for people who like adventure, space, and aliens. In the book there were many worlds I never knew would be so amazing. The theme is how much family is, and how two things can be a family. Either if you're from a different planet or world, you treat them as a family. You protect and care for one another. Family love, care, responsibilities, and life is priceless. There may be hard times, but there's a family who helps through it. Like Snout and Rod Allbright... there not family but they treat each other like it, also the other aliens. My rating for the book is an A+ + +. This book was the first one I fell in love with. When I was reading it I couldn't put it down. I also told my friends to read it, and they loved it as much as I did. It just goes to show, "Don't judge a book by its title." So go to your local library or bookstore and check it out. I love it and I bet you will too. - C.M.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Search for Snout (Paperback)
Search no longer for a good book to read. Having never been to space The Search for Snout, by Bruce Coville, makes me feel like I am in a spaceship in space. Rod Allbright, a kid that met aliens in the first book Aliens Ate My Homework, searches for his alien friend snout. Along with Captain Grakker, Tar Gibbons, Phil, and Madame Pong, search for snout with Rod AllBright. The reason I liked this book was because of Rod Allbright. He was the main character and he probably had the most adventures in the series. The villain BKR tried to steal Rod Allbrights brain to make a huge bomb to destroy the universe. If you want to see if BKR's plan is successful and a surprising secret read the book The Search for Snout. This is a must read book.
