5.0 out of 5 stars An inspiring book for any counselor., September 16, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: In Search of Solutions: A New Directions in Psychotherapy (Hardcover)
This book contains a number of simple, yet powerful, suggestions for helping counseling clients move from domination by their problem to reliance on their own solutions and strengths. The authors are inspiring and I intend to apply the perspectives in my healing work as a counselor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ignore the problem, January 4, 2010

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
In a world where therapists seem to be so focused on the etiology of everything and every behavior out there. With managed care everyone wants to know the symptoms and what is the code. Is it bi-polar one, two, or NOS? To our rescue comes Bill and Michelle who present and idea about being positive and believing that a reframe can change everything. Perception is everything, truth is subjective.

Excellent work, the skills and techniques embodied in this book are easy to understand, but I would imagine they are hard to put into play.

Great book.
