This book is handsomly bound, is full of imagery, and portrays this firm's work beautifully. The verbage is minimal and supportive and the pictures and additional drawings really tell the story. It is one of my favorite books in my library.

Searching for True shows us a glimpse into Cutler Anderson's work that is to be at once admired, commended, and explored by all interested in the beauty of architectural form and function achieved through regimented simplicity that defines their firm. Their site specific approach and truth in building practices demonstrates the best of architecture and will not be easily dismissed by future generations. Their commitment to process and exuberant restraint is on full display from their earliest works to today.

If you are at all on the fence about this book, don't be. It is one of the best monographs around, as well it should be.

This is a beautiful record of the works of Cutler Anderson. The photographs were taken with as much love and care as the architects put into their work.

Cutler Anderson's work is the epitome of West Coast design. The work is powerful, lyrical, contextually inspired and timeless.
