Please beware that the photo advertising this sling shows a baby positioned EXACTLY how the manufacturer tells you NOT to position him!

This sling is almost identical to the Infantino SlingRider, which was recalled several months ago after 3 babies died in them. The babies were positioned like in the photo: curled into a C, with chin drooping toward the chest. This can close a baby's airway, and has been shown to lower blood oxygenation levels, and ultimately, can be fatal.

This sling may be adequate for an older baby who can sit upright in it, but PLEASE do not put your newborn in it as shown in the photo! If you read the instruction manual, it actually tells you not to do this, so it is incredibly irresponsible of the manufacturer to use this photo to advertise the product. Research safe baby wearing and buy a sling that keeps your baby pressed into your body, with his head supported to keep the airway open.

This is my favorite baby carrier. It's so practical, basically once you have adjusted it to you and your baby you just have to slide baby in or out, and that's it. When I have to go out and run errands in different places, instead of opening the trunk unfolding, the stroller, unbuckle baby from car seat, buckle her up on the stroller.... well, I just put her in and walk - I find it's also a great exercise! And my baby loves to hang on to mommy! It's light weight so you can take it in your purse and if you are breast feeding it's also great! Every mother should have one.

I started carrying my baby in this sling when he was 2 months old. He's about 6 months old now, and is (and has been) quite comfortable in it. We spend an hour or 2 in it daily. It's pretty comfortable for me too. I get lots of compliments on it when I wear it out. He's almost at the upper weight limit for it (25 lbs) and the sling is starting to slip a bit at the ring. I wish it was designed for even bigger babies.
