Seasalt's Hidden Powers, April 27, 2006
This review is from: Seasalts Hidden Powers (Paperback)
The power of the ocean comes from the totality of the minerals of the planet, energized by the cosmic forces, electrified by the deep magnetism of earth and further invigorated by the atmospheric wind storms and spin drift6s far out at sea.
How does the salt store these powers? The salt we eat, only retains and transfers these physical and mental energies when it is harvested ecologically, from a pristine clean shore, dried without artificial heat and free of chemical additives. The benefits of good salt, spelled in this book, are fully backed by modern biology, natural medicine and sound nutrition. The ancient tradition of Celtic salt making preserves a heritage that has helped shape human destiny and has exalted the human condition for hundreds of years. The positive factsw given,in simple terms, can help us achieve vibrant health by eating the most natural salt available.
The advantages to body and spirit that comes from taking and using naturaly-harvested salt are impressive: from serene disposition, mental acuity and freedom from stress to improve physical wel being. libido and endurance. The book shows how today's refined white salt, damages both the enviroment and human health, due to its origin (polluted waters or fossil mines and stagnant lakes), the method of extraction: kiln or oven drying, and artificial treatment including stripping it of its 84 vital minerals, lacing it with chemical anti-caking additives, bleaches and toxic conditioners.
From the most ancient times, politics, history and greed have debased human salt quality by processing, false advertising and consumerism. Although still in short supply worldwide, the good salt begins to win out. Nowhere else can you find the information revealed in this book. The current sources for Celtic ocean salt on three continents are disclosed too.

Change your salt, change your life!, June 8, 2007
This review is from: Seasalts Hidden Powers (Paperback)
This is a short, concise history on how the salt we eat has been changed from a pure product from the ocean to an industrial waste product that is ruining our health.
Unrefined sea salt has 84 trace minerals that are vital to sustaining good health, both mental and physical. White table salt has only sodium and maybe a tiny spritz of iodine; it is chemically unbalanced to be processed by the human body.
Read this book and you will know why it's no small wonder that nearly everyone in the western hemisphere has some type of health problem. Switch to unrefined sea salt as recommended by the years of research that went into this book and begin looking and feeling better than you have in years!

An amazing book that tells the story of sea salt, the minerals, what they can do for you. These minerals are key in helping you to maintain a proper pH value of 7.2- critical in the prevention of serious diseases such as cancer- which is a very opportunistic disease. A wonderful little book taking you into a very big world of unrefined, all natural sea salts. Salt turns out to be GOOD for you- not bad, and the minerals HELP to lower blood pressure not raise it... Mother Nature put sea salt everywhere for us and for over 100 years we have been consistently removing the very minerals put there to keep us healthy! It's back to sea salt for me.
