This is a great costume - my 15 month old daughter is 50th percentile for height and weight (and usually wears 18 month/2T clothing) and this fits her well. The costume is good quality and has a minimal amount of shedding. It also will keep your toddler warm on a cool Halloween night!

I bought this for my son's Sesame Street themed 1st birthday party. He, of course, will be elmo...and after looking at tons of places and reviews on other types of costumes..this by far is the best. Elmo is furry right!? So is this costume, so adorable and your kid will look all chunk and furry too =) My son is 11.5 months about 22 lbs and usually fits size 12-18 perfectly...when I first opened this costume, I thought for sure it would be too large, but it fit just right! whooo hooo! can't wait for the party!

My son is a huge Elmo fan, so I bought this for Halloween. He is a slender child (34 inches tall and 22 pounds), but this costume fit him well. He loved it so much that he didn't want to take it off. It also kept him nice and warm during trick or treating.

The hood tends to fall backwards often (maybe my daughter was just bouncing around too much). Also the hair does shed a bit on your clothes/furniture. However, very well made and appears to be warm for cold Halloween nights.
