Great reference
We have this at our beach house and people refer to it all the time. I have other shell books, but it is nice to have just shells found in North Carolina, without all the exotic shells round the world included. Nicely edited.

Photos not enough detail
Not enough color photos. Black and white photos too hard to see detail. If you like to read about the descriptions, then this is for you. I am visual, and zone out on the written details, when all I want to know is what kind of shell I found.
