5.0 out of 5 stars Georgeous hardcover on rare sea shells, October 26, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: World Seashells of Rarity and Beauty (Hardcover)
This book is an absolute must for every collector and friend of sea shells! I have bought mine several years ago and keep on glancing through it at least once a month. It is worth every penny of the money! Not only for serious collectors but also for someone just interested in beautiful photographs of nature. Watch out: the information to the shells given in the appendix is mostly in Japanese only. Includes mostly very rare to rare shells, but also some common ones which are just beautiful. I strongly recommend this one for your book shelf!

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding picture book on seashells, October 26, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: World Seashells of Rarity and Beauty (Hardcover)
This is a truely outstanding book. I have bought mine quite some time ago, but still fancy to look into it at least once a month. It is not so much for exact definition of shells from your collection, but moreover for pure delight. Wonderful pictures all over, all in color, superb quality print, worth any penny of it. I can recommend to both serious collectors as well as to everybody interested in shells! Watch out: the appendix with detailed information is in Japanese only. Focus on rare shells.
