And this show marks the first appearance of his long-time theme, I Love to Spend Each Sunday with You, so this is an extra-special treat for Cantor fans. A legendary radio personality on a roll!

This is another in Brian Gari's series of releases of rare items from his grandfather's more than half-century as a superstar. This is Cantor's return to radio in the 1932 season, after his blockbusting 1931 season in which he racked up ratings that have yet to be equalled in any mass medium. The return of Cantor to the airways was as eagerly awaited in 1932 as the new SOPRANOS episodes are today. Nor did Cantor disappoint his listeners, providing a first rate collection of comedy and songs. The audio on this show is outstanding, given that they were off-air recordings on crude metallic discs. An absolute must for the Cantor collector and any afficianado ofold radio.
