I not only own this album, but had the privilege of attending the album release party. Let me tell you... Marc Ivory & Excelled Praise definitely tapped into heaven with this release. It's rare that I enjoy an album beginning to end... but this one definitely made the short list. Dynamic vocals combined with the ability to usher in the presence of God makes this one a must-add to your collection. In a sea of Christian "entertainers"... this one definitely stands out in my book.

Well done here and very worshipful... both my mother and I really enjoy this CD. And trust me, that is SAYING ALOT! We do not usually like the same type of gospel music so there are some real gems to be found on this CD:
"Life Your Hands" is kinda laid back, but smooth. Easy listening as you drive around town. "Psalm 91" is one of my favorites because of the jazzy feel. "Thank You" never fails to put my right at the feet of Jesus... a classic phrase, but the song is very contemporary. "I Press" is fast and high energy,... great song,.... until he sounds like the Cowardly Lion, but it's still a great song and you'll laugh at that part. Still great singing. (he, he, he) "Holy"... not to be missed! Just as "Thank You" will usher you right into worship, this song is so pure and touches my heart so easily. "That's What He's Done" and "Season of God's Will" are nice... I love the words on "Season", but the music is just ok. "What Manner" will have you shouting in your car,... very contemporary sounding (rock) then it breaks down into "Come Let Us Adore Him"... wow,... great mix. "You Are the Reason" is.... hmmm, hmmm good! Soooo jazzy... you could see yourself sitting at a lounge with the lights dimmed and just nodding to this groove and then it picks up a bit at the end. Great feel to this song! Those are my standouts.... you just gotta have this in your collection! And REAL musicians too??? Not just tracks! Sweet!
