I saw the movie, I was captured by the soundtrack. Found it, bought it, and must classify it as one of the best purchases I've made. After a hectic day with all the stress, there is noting better than sitting down and listening to something that mentally takes you away from it all to a much more peacful place. Certain soundtracks have that ability. FYI, another xlnt DVD & Soundtrack is Sacred Earth. Give it a sample listening[...] Also bought at Amazon. If you liked this soundtrack, you'll love sacred earth. The DVD is XXXLNT.

I was unfamiliar with Peter Nashel until this score and now I am searching for more of his work. If you like Thomas Newman, Mychael Danna and Phillp Glass (film works) you will enjoy this one. Nice textures with touching melodic interludes. Nice use of harp piano and strings with creative supporting percussion.
