A really enjoyable read,

Ellen Foxxe has managed to create a very compelling story that has some wonderful unique elements. I especially like the character of Rolande Vendeley. Rolande walks a fine line between rogue and heroine that make her fascinating. I never knew what the character would do next. Both Albin and New Albin are interesting places that have some similarities to our own world but many differences as well. For example, the soar hounds and the Yerren are interesting creations of the author. I also enjoyed reading about Katin's dilemma. I am eagerly awaiting the next book in this series . |
