FALL IN LOVE AGAIN AND AGAIN,
By A Customer
This review is from: A Season of Swans (Hardcover)
If you have ever been in need of a friend or family away from your every day life, turn to A Season of Swans, and the first two books of the trilogy. Never before had I read such expertise. in Ms. DeBlasis's books, you will meet and fall instantly in love with Rane and Alexandria, Morgan and Samantha, Hawk and Lexy, not to mention the many other family members. The books are so amazingly constructed you feel as if you too were on the journey from England to Maryland, and very honored to be along. Time and time again I go back to the Swan trilogy, and each time it as if I was being embraced by old friends. A feeling that never grows old.

A must read for romance lovers,
By Elisa A Nordstrom (Chimacum, WA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: A Season of Swans (Mass Market Paperback)
This book is a wonderful way of ending the "Swan" trilogy. I enjoyed how Celeste followed Alex but focused mainly on her grandchildren and the issues in surrounding lives. Overflowing with historical information that is intriguing and easy to read, A Season Of Swans leaves you wishing you could have been there to help or enjoy along with them. Having read everything that Celeste DeBlasis has written I know that she cannot write a bad sentence. This book is worth your time and a must have for every lover of romance.

When I read this series of books, I didn't think a book so thick could keep my attention. It had 100% of my attention. All 3 are wonderful stories that you will never forget. Plus, if you like horses, you'll enjoy these.

The Wild Swan series is excellent. This is the 3rd of the series and if you were involved with the characters from the first two books like I was, you have to read the conclusion!

Final book in De Blasis' Swan Trilogy,
By There's a whole lot more to the story than that but it's really hard to put it all into words without writing a book report so I'll skip that. What De Blasis excels at is putting her characters into the events and politics of the day, which provides a highly entertaining way to retell the nation's history. From a Klan raid in the old south, to the events following Little Big Horn, to labor riots in Chicago and more as the author weaves her characters in to real events from our nation's history. My only complaint is that this book is a bit too long and should have finished it up about 200 pages sooner. After three books there's just one too many coming back from the edge of death recovery leading to another overly happy marriage that it got a bit old after a while, and a little too busy. Four stars. The first two books in the series (in order), Wild Swan Swan's Chance
