I got this for Christmas and thought it was great. Very seasonal as it has a different chapter for each month. I has the most amazing chocolate cake recipe ever (more cocoa powder than flour) and a fabulous carrot and corinader soup. It has a fair amount of game recipes which I probably wouldnt make but overall I love the feel and conversational quality of it. There are plenty of recipes from friends and cooks at the hotel that she loves and wants to pass on.
