great specs - poor construction,

This unit has a great spec sheet ... ample power, efficient, quiet. However, my unit arrived with a warped metal housing - clearly a factory defect. Worse, it had to be RMA'ed by manufacturer. It will be 3 weeks from when I originally purchased this unit - to when I actually have a useable power supply.

i just put this into my antec 3700BQE and i kid you not - i cannot hear this thing - period.were it not for my 7800GT fan running (also amazingly quiet) my PC would not be heard at all. it's a pricey power supply and worth every.single.penny. stop looking, just click Buy It and enjoy!

This power supply is great! I have many power hungry components, 6 disks, 2 CDROM/DVD-ROMs, 4 DIMM, endless USB devices and an older AMD Athlon(tm) 64 CPU. They are all on at the sametime. My older 450Watt power supply couldn't handle the load and often made my Linux box unstable. After reading reviews, it is everything they say. Now with this Seasonic power supply my machine is rock solid. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the price.
