More About the Author
Patricia Mathson is the author of 13 books in the field of religious education. She has a Masters degree in Religious Education from the University of Dallas. She has many years of experience in faith formation with children and adults as a director of religious education. She is currently the children's ministry coordinator at an ecumenical shelter for women and children. She has written more than 60 magazine articles and also writes the monthly Celebrating Saint column for Catechist magazine.

I have this book in my collection from someone who was cleaning out their bookcase a few years back. Recently I purchased a copy for a CCD colleague of mine who just began teaching. The book has ready to use prayer services, project ideas you can use as-is, or modify and springboard off of for your own needs or ideas. The book is just a handy tool when you might need a 20 minute filler or are seeking a new way to present material for an entire lesson.
