1.0 out of 5 stars Not the Edgewater you think it is, June 15, 2008
This review is from: Seasons Change (Audio CD)
Don't buy this cd if you are looking for something by the Edgewater of "South of Sideways" fame. I made the mistake of doing so without fully researching this cd or listening to the audio clips, I just thought it was something new. Anyway, I bought it so I better listen to it, bigger mistake than buying the wrong thing in the first place. The sound of the band is outdated by 25 years, "7ATE9" sounds like something that should have been on "The Karate Kid" sdtk. right before "You're The Best". "Sublime" sounds like a nightmare mixture of Lynard Skynard and The Scorpions. "Surface Surgeon" and "Until Then" are the only redeeming songs on the album and could be a path for future success if they just cut down on the overall cheese factor like flutes and saxophones in pop songs. Anyway, no one song really sticks to the same style as the one before it, the album is unclassifiable. Furthermore, the lyrics are generic and belong in boy band songs, I've written better myself on cocktail napkins. Stay away, you've been warned!

1.0 out of 5 stars Not what you're looking for, July 14, 2008
This review is from: Seasons Change (Audio CD)
I'm just her to say to you all this is not the Edgewater you think it is. Its completely another artist. Their official website does not even mention this album. And by the way it does suck more than you can ever imagine! lol
