5.0 out of 5 stars Excelent source of inspiration for all seasons!, November 11, 1999

Dr. Keiser once again shows us why she is known as one of the foremost organists and church musicians of our time. The fabulous organ and chourus from Fairmount Presbyterian are also very impressive, as are the Cleveland Lyric Brass. Two favorites on this album for me include the awesome "Baptism Dance" from Dan Locklair's Windows of Comfort, and Flor Peeters' awe inspiring Entrada Festiva. The sheer power of organ, brass and percussion sent chills up my spine. This album showcases well the talent and skill of Dr. Keiser, the well known professor of music at the exceptionally prestigious Indiana University School of Music. Brava!

5.0 out of 5 stars Reviewing Flor Peeters, December 23, 2003

This review is from: Seasons of Festivity (Audio CD)
I first heard the Entrata Festiva in 1965, and used it for my wedding recessional in 1967. Until the internet came along, I was frustrated trying to find a professional recording if that piece. Peeters is one of the finer sacred composers, and I would like to find a professional recording of his Mass in honor of St. Joseph--sung in the original LATIN, if possible. The whole Mass is just as awesome as the Entrata, but the Credo touches the high point of Catholic Liturgy before Vatican II. I also used the St. Joseph Mass at my wedding, but the choir sang it in English. The Latin is more poetic, but the music is first class either way.

Why doesn't Amazon get rid of this page? You can't preview the music nor buy the recording on its site.
