From Publishers Weekly
Porter's forte is Wild West romances, and this final entry in the Lawless sisters trilogy (Hannah's Promise; Jacey's Reckless Heart) is set in the very wild Southwest of 1873. Three people have been brutally murdered on their ranch and an all-out range war between rival cattlemen seems imminent, yet women casually set out via horseback and buckboard for visits to far-flung homesteads, without armed male escort. Better yet, their menfolk seem surprised when said women are kidnapped by nasty gunslingers. Porter is a popular writer, but this story's hard to believe, much less read. Vapid heroine Glory Bea, does a lot of weeping and wailing, and cowboy hero Riley Thorne's as dumb as they come. They may deserve each other, but the reader doesn't.

Review
With her parent's dead and her sisters gone, it's up to Glory Lawless to take care of her family's ranch. But while her sisters are seeking answers to her parents' deaths, Glory is falling apart. Grief stricken and frightened, Glory is the baby of the family and not used to this kind of responsibility. How is she supposed to handle everything alone? She doesn't know where to begin, but Glory is a Lawless and a Lawless will always find a way. And she doesn't intend to let the enemy into her home, no matter how desperate she may be. Riley Thorne doesn't want to be on the Lawless spread any more than Glory wants him there. But he has promised to help out and he intends to stick by his word. There has been bad blood between the Lawlesses and the Thornes for years, and Glory uses every opportunity to remind Riley of that fact. He knows he should just walk away from her, but Glory is a tempting young woman- one who has been in his heart for quite awhile. He will do whatever it takes to look after her, even when suspicions are turned on him. In a romantic, heart-warming tale, Cheryl Anne Porter wraps up the Lawless sisters' tales with Glory's story. Glory and Thorne are a perfect match and the sparks fly whenever they are together! Ms. Porter is a gifted author and readers won't want to see this story end. A marvelous conclusion to this family saga! Cheryl Anne Porter is a bright star in historical fiction! She has written a wonderful family saga sure to keep readers enthralled! Seasons of Glory is a glorious conclusion to an entertaining trilogy! Beautifully written! A story that will touch your heart. Ms. Porter deserves the highest praise! Kristina Wright --
