The absolute best Pagan planner around,

I have purchased many many pagan calendars, planners and such over the years and this planner is by far the best. I don't know how Season's does it, but this planner gets better and better each year. Besides being beautiful it's practical, extremely functional, and full of useful information. I purchased two extra planners and gave them as gifts. My friends love it! This is the only planner I will ever use. Thanks so much for creating such a wonderful product. You have a customer for life. This is the only planner you will ever need. It lacks nothing. Get it - you won't be sorry.

I , too have loved this day planner over the past 2 years. I love the pictures and information provided in between the pages of a calendar/ date book. The 2004 edition seemed to have some problems that are of concern. Throughout the book there are small errors and one large one and this leads one to wonder about the credibility of other information in the book. Especially when many of us do not have time or the skills to check the accuracy of such information (that is why we turn to a calendar of this type). The price , too, increases with each year and a local store stopped carrying it because of the cost. The cost impedes a sale. Most of the artwork is amazing and of excellent quality for a product of this calibur, but there are also pieces interspersed that appear to be of low quality and take away from the value of the overall product. I do enjoy this date book , but the little things may not make me a repeat customer.

Over the last few years Seventh House Publishing has been building the better day planner with the busy witch in mind. This years issue is bigger and better than ever and contains some wonderful artwork by some well know artists as well as some up and coming artists.
The book is literally a beautifully put together reference manual as well as the perfect day planner. Each day page has plenty of space for writing notes and includes a time table for entering appointments. And each page has the month calendar to help plan your busy social schedule. Day pages also include moon phases, suggested spell working topics, suggested spells, and bits of black and white art that makes this decorative as well as useful. The full month can be viewed on a two page spread which usually contains a lovely color graphic related to the month, highlights of the Sabat for the month, if any, previous month, current month spread and next month. There is also a history of the name of the month, and some seasonal correspondences. Artwork for this planner is provided by such well known names as Beth Hansen, Art by Sabrina, Laura Tempest Schmidt and Victoria David Danann. The cover art is by Jessica Galbreth. Then there are some wonderful little bits by some up and coming artists and some lovely photographs. There are contributions by M. L. Benton in the content of correspondence tables, recipes and spells to name a few. And the inclusion of such goodies as "The Wiccan Rede" poem, Wheel of the Year illustration, full year calendars, explanation of astrological occurrences (for example 'Mercury Retrograde) and selected poetry scattered throughout this planner make for a really interesting planner as well as functional and lovely to look at. And, the book is indexed. This would make a wonderful Yule gift or just a thoughtful purchase for yourself or a friend. I recommend this over some of the higher priced commercial planner for its usefulness as well as its appeal to the audience it is presented to. |
