SEASUN ZIEGER: STRAIGHT UP STEP
This step workout consists of a fun warm up, three 64 count step combinations, an easy to follow cool down and a deep stretch. The combinations are taught add on style. Both the complexity and the intensity are geared toward the intermediate to advanced level exercisers. This workout is so much fun that we'll bet you'll be reaching for it time & time again! Seasun Zieger's first exercise dvd, Rock Steady Step, received the "Best Workout Video for Step Routine" from Fitness Magazine! This workout was designed to be both athletically challenging and somewhat dancy...yet it's easily followed. It's a non-stop step party that's guaranteed to give you great cardio benefits!

Running time: 54 minutes.

Seasun's choreography is for the advanced stepper. This one is very well cued, but it requires your attention to learn it. It's harder than Rock Steady Step, but easier than CIA 2903. Music is instrumental but motivating and the style is more dancy than athletic. If you're used to Amy Bento and Christi Taylor, this one should by right up your alley. Great workout!

This workout is not for those looking for an easy step routine. I would probably consider myself an intermediate stepper, and it took me a while to master some of the steps in this workout. It moves at a pretty fast pace, and it is pretty intense. Be prepared to teach yourself the steps, because Zieger plows forward with no explanation. I found this frustrating at first, but once I mastered the steps, I felt somewhat vindicated. I still have yet to make it through the whole workout, but I'm almost there. Difficult, but worth it.

I bought this along with Christi Taylor's Totally Cool Step after reading several reviews. At first glance Seasun's doesn't seem too strenuous, but, now that I've worked out to both of them for a few weeks now I realize I'm going to have to work my way up to Seasun. She moves fast and changes moves without much warning so I'm going to have to get in better shape and memorize the combinations before I can really enjoy this. I'm glad I bought it.
