Not for toddler booster seat,

This would be great product for a child still in a 5-point harness carseat. We had ran into the belt coming undone accidentally a few times. However, my 3 year-old preschooler is now in a booster seat and easily removes the cover himself. My goal was to keep him from unbuckling his own seatbelt, but this isn't the right product for that.

i was looking for something to stop my 3 year old from taking her seat belt off and at first this seemed like a great idea, but within a few days she figured out how to slide it off(which is very easy) so it was pretty much a waste of money.

I have a little Houdini on my hands and this worked well in addition to an extra car seat latch and the original car seat latch flipped backwards...

I have a 4 year old son with down syndrome...he constantly unbuckles his seatbelt, I actually have his carseat teathered downand also have bungee cords thru the back and around the seat just in case he undoes his belt.... this cover doesnt do the job at all :( I have a town and country mini van and the cover does cover the belt buckle, but it is easy for my son to slip his fingers in the gap and stil unbuckle the belt. I would consider purchasing a different style if you have an inquisitive child, he is also able to pop the cover up enought to unbuckle it, bad bad design.

Might seem frivolous, but it's not,

Unbeknown to us, my toddler daughter's car seat was accidentally unbuckled one weekend, and the next Monday when I had to stop short her seat went flying. She landed face first on the floor of the van (the seat in front of her had been removed), a huge bump quickly forming on her forehead. After a trip to the ER that included a CAT scan (I had no wish to repeat with my daughter what happened to Natasha Richardson), we found out she would be ok. I got one of these ASAP and will start giving them out at baby showers.
