Salsa Collar
Being a bike commuter, this was a perfect replacement for my quick-release seatpost collar. Now there's no reason to carry my seat with me or pray it is still there when I get back to the bike parking area. Looks good, holds tight. Makes me happy.

Nice clamp, but didn't do the job
The clamp was bought to replace a quick release clamp on a Trek 4500. Living in a large city I didn't want to take a chance of having my nice Terry Fly seat stolen. Although the correct size was ordered and it fit snuggly over the seat post tube no amount of cranking down on the bolt would keep the seat post from creeping down on rides. Bought this to replace the plastic stock seat clamp that came on my Cervelo RS which CRACKED while I was riding. Unlike the cheapo stock clamp, this thing is built to go the distance. It has a substantial feel to it and I have no worries that this will ever break.
If you have a carbon frame bike and your existing seat clamp looks skimpy, do yourself a favor and buy one of these Salsa clamps.

I finally gave up on this and went back to the quick release that came with the bike, no slippage at all, now I just take the seat with me when I'm not with the bike.

This clamp cured my problem with slippage that occurred with a fancy Hope anodized clamp. Its big and beefy.
