A great gift to give as a birthday or shower gift. Parents love it and so will children.

Here's the thing: When it comes to giving praise for a children's book, I don't ladle it out like so much gravy. For me the book has to be first, and foremost, entertaining (especially if I'm going to read it over and over to the little ones) and secondly, though it's not necessarily a prerequisite, educational. The "Larry Gets Lost" series is all that and more. In this particular adventure, we learn more about Seattle, which has already sparked interest in my kids to go visit so we can see all the landmarks that Larry gets lost at. But more than that, the imaginative and thrilling artwork by Mr. Skewes evokes the great impressionist modern cartoons of my youth (e.g. Tex Avery, Chuck Jones, etc.) Kudos to Mr. Skewes and Mr. Schwartz for creating a geographically delightful series. I'm looking forward to Larry Getting Lost in other cities... and countries, for that matter!

My niece loves Larry and Seattle. When I go visit her, she has me read both her Larry books Seattle ABC and Larry Gets Lost in Seattle. The drawings are great and especially if you want to share Seattle with a little one this is a great book!

My son received this book as a present about the same time he was learning his ABCs. It has been so much fun to read together and now that he knows his ABCs he has even more fun with it. The illustrations are FANTASTIC!

I loved this book! It was a gift for a friend and I couldn't stop looking at it before giving it away. The illustrations are wonderful. The use of color and the illustration style are quite unique. Well done children's book and one I'd definitely give as a gift again (and again.)
