This bag is very versatile, it is easy to mount a lot of places on a kayak, but it is a lot smaller than it seems to be in the pictures, and is better for storing small items that you don't need to get to quickly (or get to often, like sunscreen) than it is for being (essentially) a deck-mounted tackle-bag.

First of all it is too small to fit a single standard Plano clear plastic utility boxes, you can jam it in, but it is too small to zip it shut. Secondly, my bag also markedly faded in the sun in a very short time.

If this bag was about $20-30, it might be worth putting up with the shortcomings, but for $50-70 it utterly isn't worth that kind of cash, you would be way better off buying a small insulated backpack, and some straps, and lashing that to your deck, then filling the backpack with the remaining $40 worth of beer, than buying one of these.

Do not recommend anyone buy this at $50+, maybe if it was $20-$30.

I can't imagine this being useful to most fishermen/fisherladies. It holds; 2 (1L)bottles and an extremely modest (1L) tackle box in the main compartment. Could barely fit fillet knife, needle nose, emergency poncho in other compartments, this thing was at capacity, save yourself $30 and just strap a backpack to your kayak. Serious buyers remorse.

I love this bag. Got it for day trips and group outings. Fits a lot of stuff, easy to attach and great for accessing your stuff on the water.

We paddle a tandem kayak all over Florida, and have two of these bags. We love them. They look great, have plenty of attachment points with easy clipping straps to secure them to the boat, and have plenty of easy storage.

There's a quick, low-volume pocket on top, a wider pocket below that encompasses the whole width, and a larger, clamshell interior compartment for larger items, further subdivided with more zippers and dividers. We have no problem getting our various small cameras, GPS devices, and assorted snacks and safety gear into our bags. The bags are made of a heavy, dense ballistic nylon, so they are very water repellant, although not absolutely waterproof. The zippers have rubbery surrounds that also help keep random splashes from getting in.

After a few months sitting following a lot of saltwater paddling in the Florida Keys, the zipper tabs corroded a bit, despite careful rinsing after. My SO was gentle with hers and got them freed up with no problem. I got a little frustrated and tore mine off. But I ordered another one, because there really is nothing out there I think is this good. I'd recommend careful rinsing after saltwater excursions, and storage out of the humidity.

I received mine just a few days ago. I must admit I was a bit disappointed as I expected the bag to be bigger. My biggest disappointment was not being able to fit one of my plano boxes. In order to solve that issue ,I simply cut off one of the zippered pockets inside the bag and problem solved. I was able to fit all three of my planos boxes and used the remaining pocket to put all my power baits and fish attractants. The other compartments come pretty handy too and the bag looks really nice on my kayak. I'm glad I didn't returned it.

I like this bag, but it was smaller than I imagined. When I looked at the dimensions in the description and "boxed it out" it even seemed bigger, so the picture must add a disproportionate illusion. I also immediately removed the plastic pocket stays and replaced them with foam rubber to keep its shape better. It works though. I received it quickly & its easy to use.

Nice quality pack. However, wish it was a bit larger. Really not sure what useful items I can fit into it. It's a tad small for what I wanted to use it for.
