May take a day or so to "break-in" but generally they fit perfectly (at least for me) right out of the box.
I have had several pairs of Sebago docksides over the years and they seem to fit and wear as expected.
They look good for all occasions, beach to formal and I can heel and toe my stick shift without any problems.

Product Description

Sebago represents authentic products and timeless design. Their original, hand-sewn Docksides boat shoe and Classic Beefroll penny loafer haven’t changed since they first crafted them decades ago. Sebago is a celebration of everything New England…where life in, on or around the waters is a geographical unavoidability. Their shoes are about performance--not just the technical kind, but the way a shoe behaves in its right environment, whether on boats or city streets. Each classic Sebago design is carefully designed to perform at its best.

The handsewn boat shoe that started it all. These 72722 Sebago Men's Docksides Casual Shoes in Navy have a rubber slip-resistant sole, rawhide laces and non-corrosive brass eyelets. Genuine moccasin construction wraps the foot in a single piece of leather, creating a fit that's uniquely your own.

Have worn Sebago shoes for years, and they are really great.

I called Sebago Customer Service to see if that was still the case and they told me that no Sebago shoes whatsoever are made in the US any more.

These shoes are more comfortable than expected and they look great.

I got these as a replacement for my Sperry Topsiders. Now I wish I had stuck with what worked for me instead of trying these - these are essentially unwearable for my purposes. They look "nice" but that's about it. I wore my old Sperrys without socks almost everywhere, including on the boat where they got soaked, and they just kept getting more comfortable.
-Toe-box is smaller than Sperry. This is just an FYI since maybe my foot is just weird.
-Leather is too stiff, even after "breaking in" and wearing it on the boat where it got soaked by ocean water several times. It's so stiff that with each step the leather folds in and pinches my pinky toe badly.
-Sole is too stiff. Compare it to Sperry - it's a completely different design that's thicker and has less flexibility.
-Both of the half-length leather "insoles" separated and fell out when it got wet. Not sure how to glue it back.

All in all terrible shoes for me. I thought they would "break in" but they have not. I'm going back to Sperry. These may fit your needs if they fit your particular foot shape comfortably and you only intend to wear them with socks (to protect from blisters) as dress shoes, and not on an actual boat or as a comfy casual shoe.

I ordered the Sebago mens Dockside and am returning after wearing it just 10 minutes. The shoe is very narrow in width (I ordered an 8 1/2 medium which I wear for all styles of shoe) and pinched the balls of my feet even after loosening the laces. The leather is also very stiff with little play. Lastly, I ordered the shoe in brown and was surprised the color is much lighter than the website photo.

Looked like what I wanted, were even comfortable when tried on. Only with extended daily wear does the shoe reveal the lack of finish. Scrapes heel and toes over time. Would not recommend.

Have worn Sebago shoes for years, and they are really great. Durable and comfortable. May take a day or so to "break-in" but generally they fit perfectly (at least for me) right out of the box. Highly recommended. Sperry makes a similar shoe in the Top Sider brand, and it is a bit softer and a bit more comfortable, and somewhat cheaper. The Sebago has a bit of a more tougher feeling. I have both and can't decide which I like more ;-)

Boat shoes can be soft when made out of cloth or suede but most of the leather ones are insufferably stiff.
Not so with these particular "Sebago Super Soft" shoes in Dark Brown. Right out of the box they are buttery soft and a pleasure to wear.
They are true to size -in my case 11D- for a no sock wear. They look good for all occasions, beach to formal and I can heel and toe my stick shift without any problems.
BTW the Sebago sole provides better traction on wet decks than the standard Sperry sole.
Why only 4 stars? No liner, they would be so much more comfortable.

Bass used to make a shoe like this and my hubby loved them so when it came time to replace the Bass shoes I was at a loss. I bought him these and another brand for Christmas and let him choose which one to keep. He chose these because they fit both his feet equally (you know how sometimes one foot feels better than the other in a pair of shoes?). Honestly, he hasn't worn them much yet (it's now a month after Christmas) so we don't know how they will hold up, but he does find them comfortable.

The shoes were too small, even though I ordered the same size as my old ones. The leather was very thin and the shoes did not look like they would last long even if they did fit me.
