5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Casual Shoe
I think I'm only on my third pair of these wonderful shoes in 30 years. They wear like iron and it's the shoe I will wear most of the time. I own several pairs of dress shoes for the office, but when I'm off-the-clock, my Docksiders are what I wear.

2.0 out of 5 stars Shoe size narrower than anticipated & leather is very stiff
I ordered the Sebago mens Dockside and am returning after wearing it just 10 minutes. The shoe is very narrow in width (I ordered an 8 1/2 medium which I wear for all styles of shoe) and pinched the balls of my feet even after loosening the laces. The leather is also very stiff with little play. Lastly, I ordered the shoe in brown and was surprised the color is much...

5.0 out of 5 stars The best of the boat shoes., December 24, 2010
My first pair of boat shoes were Sebago Docksides in Sand Shag sometime way back in the 80s. I wore them for many years until they were worn out. Unfortunately I could not find replacements in the local stores, so I have had many other brands and styles of boat shoes in between, including Levi's and Sperry. None of the others lived up to my original Docksides.

Now with online shopping I can get Docksides again in Sand Suede. (Pretty much the same as the old Sand Shag.) No extra seams that serve no purpose, no silly two tone colors, no cheap gummy eraser looking soles, no man made materials in the uppers to make your feet sweat, just fine quality throughout. If you've tried some other brands of boat shoes and weren't happy with them, I highly recommend you try the Docksides.

1.0 out of 5 stars Look elsewhere, May 12, 2011
The pairs I received were different. Right pair was smaller than the left one. I returned the shoes, and received refund. I heard great things about sebago, however this supplier does not meet expectations.

At first the shoes take a couple of times to break in but they get comfortable. They look good and i get compliments on how nice and clean they look.

1.0 out of 5 stars No longer made in the USA, April 20, 2011
This review is from: Sebago Men's Docksides Boat Shoe (Apparel)
I was going to buy a pair of these shoes because I thought they were made here in the USA. I called Sebago Customer Service to see if that was still the case and they told me that no Sebago shoes whatsoever are made in the US any more.

Way to go Wolverine! I would have gladly paid MORE for a pair of shoes that were still made in Maine!

2.0 out of 5 stars Hoped Sebago like Sperry, January 6, 2012
This review is from: Sebago Men's Docksides Boat Shoe (Apparel)
Looked like what I wanted, were even comfortable when tried on. Only with extended daily wear does the shoe reveal the lack of finish. Scrapes heel and toes over time. Would not recommend.

3.0 out of 5 stars Docksiders, January 5, 2012
By
Product appeared to be of good quality and marked with the size that I ordered, however, the right shoe simply DID NOT FIT! Left shoe was snug but I was able to at least get my foot into the shoe. I wasn't confident that the shoes would "break-in" so I returned them for a refund.

Most uncomfortable boat shoe I have ever put on. Inside top of shoe is annoying. Sebago is WAY overrated. I will stick with Timberland.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sebago Docksides, November 20, 2011

I tried buying these locally. A)they were more expensive and B)they didn't have the color I wanted. Buying through Amazon as a Prime customer I had what I wanted in two days without shipping charges and in the color I wanted in the first place. I'm a Happy Camper!
