Shoe fit wonderfully and is comfortable and made
with good quality workmanship.
This color is actually pretty easy to match and so far I have worn these shoes with shorts and jeans.
They fit as expected and the quality seems to hold up so far through mud, dirt, marsh, water, etc.

Okay, I read a bunch of the negative reviews and I kinda want to set the record straight. First off, never EVER just go out and wear them sans socks right out the box without breaking them in - these are leather and need to be worked a bit. I'd suggest a really thin sock (dress sock would work if you don't have anything thinner) and wear it around the house for a little bit. Some people even say to soak them in water and then wear them (with or without socks) and let them dry as you walk around. Being that I'm not one to wear wet shoes around the house (inside or out), I went with the thin sock option. The socks got moist from my foot and was able to work into the shoe. After a bit I took the sock off and it got even better. What also might work is if you put on a ton of hand lotion all over your foot and then put the shoes on...the oils from that might help a bit. It'll feel squishy, but after a little bit that'll go away (mind you, if you do this you cannot return them). Make sure the shoe fits right before you do anything and that you decide to keep them.

Now, with Sperry's, their stitching runs along the achilles' tendon, so that irritates. These don't have that. Plus Sperry's have an odd ball-of-foot insole (if you could call it that - it felt like cardboard). These are leather.

Also, these are not meant to be running shoes - they are boat shoes. For boating. You need to be able to feel the deck of the boat and these are made for that purpose, thus why there isn't a huge amount of padding. I know they're in style, but they are designed for that purpose alone. People just have to adapt that usage into how they personally use them. Boots are made for a purpose, basketball shoes are made for a purpose, running shoes...etc etc.

These shoes are amazing, if you know just a little bit about yacht shoes. They are meant to be worn without socks, and require the oils and moisture from your feet to break in, which may take a few days. Once they're broken in, they're ridiculously comfortable! Bandage up spots that might cause blisters while you break them in, and put lotion on your feet before you out them on for the first time, it speeds up the breaking in process!
Also, I've heard people complain about the design and lack of support. These are not tennis shoes, you're not supposed to go run 5 miles on these. For general wear and fashion, they're great, but don't expect them to work as athletic shoes or anything besides fashion and yachting. Once broken in, you really can feel every bit of the deck of a boat below you, practically like you're barefoot. This is their true purpose, but they work very well for every day use.
Excellent product, eligible for prime shipping, very satisfied.

I have owned 3 pairs of Sperry's in the past, so when I went to replace my last pair I obviously went on the search for another pair. I ran across these and really liked the tan/tan color combo so I decided to take the chance (and just return them if they were not up to standards), believe me when I say I'm glad I did! I have owned these for about 3 weeks now and wear them just about every day and have had issues with them at all. The build quality seems to be about the same as Sperry's, but the leather seems to be thicker and more 'vibrant' than my past Sperry's.

The biggest thing for me though is the insole, Sperry's typically have a regular fabric insole with no ventilation, which always seemed silly to me for a shoe that is meant to be worn without socks (sweat gets trapped and breaks down the adhesive). The Sebago's on the other hand use what appears to be a leather/cork/similar material with large ventilation holes. Now, I haven't worn these long enough to know how they will hold up in comparison, but it seems like the perfect solution to my only gripe with Sperry's.

I bought these in tan for my husband for Christmas in 2014 and he loved them from the moment he opened the box. The quality of the leather is good. They were so soft when they first came out of the box and they looked good, even on my husband's flat, wide feet.

Treat these shoes with leather protection spray early or be sorry! Our one regret is that we did not treat them as nicely as good leather shoes should be treated. My husband wore them out before we sprayed them down and he has had to live with some stains. Our fault.

Nonetheless, these shoes have endured all sorts of weather from dry, hot summers to snowy winter. My husband really enjoyed getting the look of the Sperry and I loved getting them for a cheaper price. Looking for another pair since he keeps wearing them in the snow!

These are boat shoes and do what they're built to do. They protect your feet. This brand is very well made but they do run narrow and require a good break-in period. After that they are very good boat shoes. Not walking or for sports.

Between my husband and I, we have six pair of spinnakers, ranging from new to about 15 years old. No other casual shoe we own looks this good or holds up like this. Sperry shoes don't even come close. Hold them up next to a pair of Spinnakers. Try as they might to mimic the funky color combinations, they don't come close. It drives me nuts that stores in Florida all sell the other brand, and few stock these. We will gladly pay more for a shoe of this quality. Spinnakers are youthful, extremely comfortable, and 100% leather, inside and out. Not one centimeter of non-leather material touches your foot. This is the only brand that can honestly make that claim. They are preppy-looking boat shoes, not clunky thick-soled golf flats for the aged. I like each color combination more than the last. The picture doesn't do the pink/blue combination justice. In person, the pink is brighter. My almost 15 year old pair are in perfect shape, and they don't have even a whiff of foot smell. That comes from being 100% leather in the lining, and elsewhere.

Now, for the practical stuff. I wear a 9, regular not narrow, in women's shoes ( a 9.5 in some pointy toed heels) and a 7 in men's spinnakers. The men's 7 and women's 9 are the exact same shoe. I have long feet, but they are not wide, and I wear the medium, not the narrow. My husband usually wears a 13 narrow, and is an 11.5 in Spinnakers. They fit us perfectly. I imagine these are not your perfect shoe to buy without trying on if you have short extremely wide feet. If that's you, make sure to order them wide.
