I have used many many expensive and some not so expensive styling products, but I always come back to Sebastian because it works! The texture is isnt greasy and the hold is fabulous...it lets me give my hair the speration needed for the textured look...

The Mud is very light, and easy to work with. It's expensive but worth the money. Great product for people with locs!

I'm not sure when I first used Sebastian Molding Mud, but the thing that impressed me most about it was that while I could style my hair, it didn't make my hair crusty and stiff.
While in its solid form Molding Mud is yellow and speckled once you work through it it is a very flexible, and mostly colorless. The only fault of Molding mud is that is it water soluble, so if you get caught in a steady rain you'll be subject to the material dissolving and running down your face. I've only had this be a problem in significant rainstorms.
