Sebastian has missed the mark on this one. I read online that Fierce is the replacement for Shaper Mega Hold and confirmed that by calling Sebastian's customer service number. After placing my order and trying this product for over a week, I'm sad to say that Fierce IS NOT COMPARABLE to Shaper Mega Hold, and I am really disappointed.
I had used Shaper Mega Hold for many years--an incredible hairspray that truly provided long lasting hold. I have fine, straight, medium-length hair and have always had difficulty finding a hairspray that would hold a style--until I found SMH. SMH was SOOO fantastic! So I really wanted to love this SMH-replacement hairspray. Unfortunately, it has a lighter hold similar to Sebastian's 'Shaper' spray--great for styling, but certainly not a finishing spray with a strong hold like 'Shaper Mega Hold'.
Despite not having a long-lasting hold, Fierce is still a good spray to use while you are in the process of styling your hair, and it has a pleasant smell. Had it been marketed as the replacement for Shaper, I would have given it 5 stars. However, it is being marketed as an "Ultra-Firm Finishing Hairpray", and I cannot recommend this product for that purpose. I'm sad to say that anyone hoping for something similar to Shaper Mega Hold should pass on this one.

This is the first review I've ever submitted, based solely on the fact that Shaper Fierce only has 2 reviews, and they're both 2 star reviews.
HOLD THE PHONE, ladies and germs. This hairspray is like a religion to me. When I see these low star reviews, I'm both confused and insulted.
I've always thought of Sebastian's Shaper Fierce as the definitive "Walk of Shame" Hairspray. If you're going out and think there's a chance you'll wake up at someone else's house, USE THIS HAIRSPRAY. Go over your hair at least twice before going out and your hair will still look at least 80% as good as it did the night before. Some light and strategic fluffing and you'll be good as new.
I love me some intense hairspray and this is my favourite. Sure, it's a bit crunchy, but I've yet to find an intense-hold hairspray that isn't.
I love hairspray. I love big hair. I love when my style holds well for longer than 8 hours (let's face it; sometimes you need 24-36 hour hold).
If you love all these things, get yourself some Shaper Fierce.

I ordered 3 cans of this hair spray. After 2 uses on the first can it stopped working. Nothing would come out of the can. I tried the 2nd and 3rd and it was the same thing. total waste of money.
