This book brought back fond memories of 1970 12 hours of Sebring. I was 16 years old and went with friends. We had a camper and parked right at the fence on the "big bend" curve, known as turn #6. This photo essay of the race brings back all the memories and excitement of watching Steve McQueen and Mario Andretti in an epic battle of Ferraris and Porsches all the way to the very last lap. The photography captures some of the close-up action that a spectator could not see. This is a great photo essay of one of the greatest races there has ever been. I highly recommend it!!
