5.0 out of 5 stars Deb & Seby's Real Deal on GLobal Warming, May 8, 2008
WONDERFUL! This is a long overdue look at how our children are affected and react to the media bias regarding global warming and other environmental issues. This book is not another author expressing an opinion on environmental issues...in fact just the opposite. What a bold, exciting, breath of fresh air!! Sonja is extremly fair in that she remains neutral without expressing her own personal opinion about issues, and instead suggests to parents and children that facts should be analyzed when making decisions...not just emotion or Hollywood bias. She also is well researched and has excellent references. Great illustrations, easy reading, I'd recommend it to anybody.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Read for All Ages!, May 5, 2008
By T. Faye Griffin (Los Angeles, CA USA) - See all my reviews
Deb & Seby's Real Deal on Global Warming succeeds on many levels. First, it cleverly introduces the issue in a hip and fun way that will hold the attention of young readers. It also offers a compelling counterpoint with well researched information that every adult should know. Whether or not you agree with the book's argument about the future of our global climate, you won't be able to deny its entertainment factor with its lovable characters, Deb and Seby.

5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT BOOK FOR STUDENTS, TEACHERS, MOMS, DADS, BELIEVERS, AND DOUBTERS!, May 21, 2008
I must say that I am someone who likes to hear both sides to a position. I've heard the opinions towards the cause and effects of Global Warming, and have now taken the time to find out a different position. I must say that reading this book has helped me to get a clearer perspective and understanding of a different opinion (not just the one that is consistantly fed through media outlets). It's not only an extremely informative book, but it was an easy read. Gave me some very interesting information and has served as a great conversational tool, and resource for my family, friends, co-workers, etc. Whether or not you are a believer or a skeptic, I encourage everyone who is interested in learning more about this subject matter, and who enjoys a book with great illustrations, and cool dialogue, to read this book!
