Just saying this now SIMPLY AMAZING. Gray and Dylan define soulmates and true love.

So I bought this Sunday morning and finished... well Sunday morning. Needless to say I COULD NOT PUT THIS DOWN! Not that I would've because I love... LOVE Gray and Dylan.

I had no idea Katie was writing a sequel. Not many authors continue contemp stories which I find a shame because sometimes us readers what to know what happens after that HEA - not that Dylan and Gray had the average HEA, but they were close - especially for those characters.

So when Katie posted on Saturday that she just hit published, I was jumping up and down and continually hitting refresh on my kindle. I needed this story like I need Sprite Zero. In a nutshell, I was jonesing as soon as I found out.

We find Gray not dealing well with Dylan not being around. Actually, she's in Europe and doesn't know how to pick up a phone or write an email. Her absence is hitting him hard and Gray gets himself in a bit of trouble with his baseball coach and a small little habit called Mary Jane... the green stuff not a girl.

When his and Amanda's birthday hits, he hits rock bottom, pitches a game high as a kite, loses and his teammates let him have it. When his coach suspends him for two games and puts him on probation, he has to walk the straight and narrow.

Dylan was loving life in Europe until someone steals her luggage. Down and out she meets Cat at a bar in Switzerland who just happens to be from Albuquerque and knows Gray. Cat fills Dylan in and makes her see the light.

Dylan does what she does best. Forgets what's she's doing an hops a plane to Gray. And the reception is anything but welcome.

I love that we have a new characters to fall in love with.

Second Chance is a story of two young people doing what humans have been doing since we started doing anything interesting: learning how to love themselves, and each other. We can all identify with parts of Grey and Dylan as they struggle with questions of who they are, how they fit together, and how to love and sacrifice for someone while staying true to oneself. Written with honesty and wit. A book for anyone who has loved.

What a great follow-up to First Comes Love. It's heartfelt, honest, and filled with humor. Reminds you that though love may not always be perfect and the way you expect it, it's always worth it, no matter what.

I'm shattered. I'm stunned. I'm emotionally wrecked. I love Dylan but I also hate her. I understand why she has to do what she does but I don't want her to. I'm pissed off at Gray. I get that he has to let her go but I don't want him to.

I'm struggling to write this because my emotions are all over the place.

I love that Dylan is such a strong, vibrant, unique personality. And I love that Gray is drawn to that. I don't like them being apart. I had such high hopes when Dylan met Cat and decided to go to Albuquerque, I was so happy. But when she got there and Gray pushed her away, I was mad and heartbroken. I knew they couldn't stay apart for long, but getting through it was difficult. My heart was heavy and I felt sick. I wanted so badly for them to reconnect. And when they did it was beautiful. I love their crazy adventures together. I want them to find a way to be together without sacrificing themselves.

I have no idea where the next chapter of their story will take them. But I do know two things. 1) Wherever it takes them, it will work because even when I haven't liked it, everything that's happened has fit with who they are. The core of their characters has never changed. Now we just need the stars to align and bring them back to each other - forever. And 2) I'm glad that I don't have long to wait for Book 3 because I really don't think I could take it.

I know that I'm probably in for another emotional ride but I'm ready to finish this journey with them.

I honestly can't even put it all in to words! I couldn't put the book down, I read it without any interruptions. I honestly cried my eyes out but I hated for it to come to an end.

Don't make us wait too long for the third book!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am so glad you continued Grey and Dylan's story. This was a great sequel. I don't think I could ever get enough of of them. Their chemistry, Dylan's random thoughts/statements (some of the things she said had me laughing out loud), and how Grey understands her so well and they just fit so well together. I encourage everyone to read this book (after reading First Comes Love of course).

Also- I am excited about the third installment. What a great surprise! :o Can't wait to see what is next for Grey and Dylan. :-)

I love this series. I found myself rereading the first two books before starting to read an ARC of Finally, Forever not because I forgot anything about the characters and the story, because they're truly unforgettable, but because I wanted to live in their world just a little longer. I was hopelessly lost in this book, Dylan and Gray, and all the emotions that came with it.

"I think falling in love should come with a warning label: CAUTION – side effects may include breaking up, accompanied by heartache, sever mood swings, withdrawal from people and life itself, wasted hours obsessing over bitter reflections, a need to destroy something (particularly something expensive that shatters), uncontrollable tear ducts, stress, a loss of appetite (Cheetos and Dr. Pepper exempt), a bleak and narrow outlook on the future, and an overall hatred of everyone and everything (especially all the happy couples you see strolling hand-in-hand, placed on your path only to exacerbate your isolation and misery). All above reactions will be intensified with the consumption of one or more alcoholic beverages."

When we left Dylan and Gray in First Comes Love, they had gone their separate ways and in Second Chance Love, they're attempting to find themselves and live their lives without the other. As you might expect, Dylan is doing this a little better than Gray is, but she still misses him every day. She's a free spirit though. Gray is angry and, more than that, he's hurt. He knows he did the right thing in letting Dylan go, that she wasn't ready to be tied down and would have ultimately ended up resenting him had he encouraged her to stay, but that doesn't lessen the pain.
