When I was young I remember watching Teen Titans and I was sad that it only lasted for 5 seasons.
This new version is my daughters favorite show and I hope lasts for a long time.
Its a show I enjoy to watch with her.

First off, I was a big fan of the Teen Titans cartoon on Cartoon Network. Watched all the episodes and the movie, bought the DVDs, read the comics, rented the video game, etc. I was always hoping the series would be renewed for another season, but it never happened.

Then, Cartoon Network and DC threw us a bone in their DC Nation programming block on Saturday mornings with the "New Teen Titans", a series of comedic shorts featuring the Titans. I assume these shorts were well received, because now they have essentially made these shorts into half hour episodes with "Teen Titans GO!".

As I'm writing this, only the first episode has aired, but my initial impressions of the show are very favorable.
-Like many series currently running on Cartoon Network, the show appears to consist of 15 minute segments.
-I would say that the show focuses more on comedy than adventure (more "Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy" than "Adventure Time" so to speak).
-The animation style is a little rougher than the first series, but not terrible (kind of reminded me of a web cartoon).
-There does appear to be some continuity between this series and the original Teen Titans cartoon, but more in the form of Easter Eggs for longtime fans, nothing that would turn off new viewers. I say this mainly because Silky the silkworm is in the first episode, along with Mother Mae Eye (who none of the Titans know is a villain, for some reason).

I'm looking forward to seeing how they incorporate more villains into the show. From the promos I've seen, it looks like Trigon is going to be featured in an upcoming episode. Slade/Deathstroke would be ideal (maybe an appearance on here coupled with his appearances on "Arrow", he could get a spinoff?).

The show just premiered, but I really enjoyed it. My 9 year old cousin has watched all my Teen Titans DVDs, and he really enjoyed it too.

Super amusing and entertaining... My 6 year-old daughter and I watch it together. I am not sure which one of us likes it more! :-)

I ordered just one episode, the parts of raven, and I still think the price is a little high for just a ten minute episode, and not super HD. I am going to order the full season on dvd when it comes out.

This episode is hilarious, just like the series. Beast Boy and Cyborg almost eat their friends, Robin complains about being bored at the store, and just what is Raven DOING when her friends are away? And that's just this episode!

Well, just to let avid fans of the original Teen Titans know, Teen Titans Go is definitely not the same thing. Not at all. Sure, it's still about the Teen Titans, but there are many differences. Teen Titans Go is mainly about the Titans' lives outside of the battles. Mind you, they do have battles, but they aren't part of the main storyline. So, if you enjoyed the action of the original Teen Titans, this show isn't for you. This new version of Teen Titans, however, is full of humor!
Many may say that the animation is "cheap." Okay, it isn't the highest quality, but these graphics actually add to the Titans' comedic ways! Most of the funny things they say and do just wouldn't work with Teen Titans's original graphics.
Some people say that this show isn't educational. While I can't argue with that, let me say in its defense that it wasn't meant to be educational. It was created as a show to make you laugh and to await the next funny episode!

Especially my youngest, (he's 10.) And I must say, I enjoy watching it with them. Definitely an action-comedy that we find ourselves watching again and again.

It's a funny cartoon and nothing like its predecessor. My 7 y/o laughs non stop. A little expensive per episode unfortunately.
