Love songs wrapped in DIRTY jokes, January 10, 2009

This is a GREAT cd. Real instruments, great horn section, tight rhythm without obvious synths or samples. Bobby Patterson- a great singer, songwriter and producer of the classic soul era has put together an excellent team to back his own performances of new songs. These are funny, engaging songs about adult ( and adulterous) situations, love songs wrapped in dirty jokes. They'll make you laugh the first few times you play it but they are obviously full of real love and emotion, tenderness and anger. Seriously, the cover art is the only less than spectacular thing about this release. Buy it before it's gone forever.
