Stop what your doing, pick this one up before it's gone.....,
By Jeffery D Barlow (Goshen, Indiana United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Second Coming (Audio CD)
TQ...the second coming, this CD is probably one of the best CD's I have purchased in a long time..probably since his last one to be exact. For those fans that really enjoy his music, this CD is one that will not let you down. I've introduced his CD to everyone I can and they all love it. It's addicting, his technique and style is one of it's own. He has really matured this album, his last one was great, but times and people change and on this album it's obvious he has, I love it. His many collabo's make it an excellent choice, E-40..he's always hot on collaborations, Ja Rule, and Warren G. This CD was worth every penny, I never get tired of it and since it's not available in the U.S. yet, I'm going to keep playing it loud. I've picked up lots of other CD's recently, I always go back to TQ's. No other album out there can match this, I promise that. With so many ... albums being put out these days, TQ is under-rated and highly skilled, can't wait for another.....JDB

Hot!,

TQ Has Done It Again With The Second Coming, He Perfectly Combines R&B And Hip-Hop Together For A Great Album. I Think The Best Songs Are Probably Best Friend And One Day Ft.Lazy Bone. I Was Dissapointed That The Album Wasn't Released In The States But Im Glad I Could Still Get An Imported Copy. I Recommend This Album To Everyone, Its Great! His New Album Is Scheduled To Be Released On August 31 So Make Sure To Get That One As Well

You Can't Improve On Perfection,
By bob (Boston, MA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Second Coming (Audio CD)
I've been a TQ fan ever since I heard Westside on that hot sunny day of July in 1998. When I heard he released his new album overseas with a few tracks that won't reach our shores I picked myself up a copy. TQ latest album isn't perfection but it's damn close. Almost every song on this album is a classic and it seems TQ has definitely put R&B back into its place. Tracks like Best Friend and Hold It Down really stick out on this album as great tracks. Warren G's guest appearence in The Grind make that one of the album's best but the absolute best track on the album is International Yours. This track will keep you repeating it for hours but too bad it probably won't be released in the U.S. This album does has it's problems though, How Can I Be Down with Ja Rule is the one song I really didn't enjoy that much and there are an unusual (for TQ anyway) amount of slow or mellow songs. What ever happened to the murder filled songs like The Comeback which made TQ stand out from the other love obssesed singers. This time around it seems TQ has toned doen his swearing and talk about killing and drugs but this might not be a bad thing for some people. But I am glad to see a lighter sound and to also see him rap a little bit more than he did the first time around. (such as Best Friend) The Truth is it's not as good as the first but definitely worth checking out if your a longtime fan of TQ or a fan of other Gangsta R&B singers such as Nate Dogg or Jodeci.GET THIS ALBUM YOU WONT REGRET IT!

what can i say about this, except buy it, it will be the best thing that you have ever listened to it, except of course his first album!!i listen to them non stop and have had to replace them cos they were worn out... there is of course the Headbeating compilation, which consists of TQ and some of other artists that TQ has signed to his production company... all i can say, really, is buy this and regret nothing!

A real good buy,
This review is from: Second Coming (Audio CD)
This album is not quite as good as Tq's first, but it is hard to improve on perfection. A good buy for hip hop, or R&B fans.

I love this CD, too bad it wasn't released in the US. I had some of the songs before I finally purchased the disc and I can say that I am satisfied. All the songs are straight and I just play it all the way through.
