A brilliant guide and very under-rated. The best quality at the lowest price, back up your studies from other sources but the core is here. The actual quality of the paper in book itself says it all, a pleasure to read and easy to follow with a masterful CD. Cisco Press can be really proud of this one.

I've seen better books on the market. This book has several mistakes and explanations are generic.....not enough detail. In some parts the writer just rambles and the points are unclear. Also lots of redundancy...the same explanation of the same topic three or four times...I usually understand the topic after the first explanation. The first year companion was worse plus the book binding came unglued. Though most of the information is useful, you'll need other books to broaden the information base. I expected more from Cisco.
