A great U.S. Diesel Locomotive reference.,

I can't think of any other single reference to U.S. Diesel locomotives in one book than this one. This is a great history book on Diesels from the beginning to about 1966, some of the models still being used on railroads today.
If you're an old "train nut" like I am and like to read some of the technical specs of these bygone engines then this is the book to get. It's more like a field guide that's not too big to carry around, but since most of these engines are now history you probably don't need to carry it around anyway. Very interesting and you won't be bored reading it since the pictures take up most of the book. |
