In all honesty if you already have the Dragonlance Tales book 1-3, then, Dragonlance Generations is pretty much useless. The only story you're going to be buying this book for is Kitiara's Son, that's really about it. The reason this book is useless is because if you're read The Chronicles and the Legends trilogies then chances are you were eager for more and read all Tales paperbacks as well making this book obsolete. If there was ever a time when Dragonlance was a cash grab then this was it.

A collection of short stories that vary in depth and quality. There are some interesting hooks, but on the whole, the characters aren't as compelling as the Heroes of the Lance.

It was a good book. I enjoyed the stories of the Companions' children. It is essentially the stories from the Tales (first series) books with two extras added in, one about Tanis' son and one about Kitiara's son.
