I Love Emma Lange!!,

Ms. Lange is my very favorite regency writer. She is not as funny as Carla Kelly, but she is many times more sensual, without being explicit. Her writing is excellent. Her heros are fallible and boyish, but oh so sexy. She can illustrate a character so finely that you can feel the same emotions the heroine is feeling in the story. I reread her best books every few months and long for more novels by her. I guess she stopped writing in the 90's. Her earliest books were not that good. She improved with each novel and I would love to know if she is still living and writing

Emma Lange writes emotional, smart regencies that exemplify the finest this genre has to offer. Real characters, real conflict, intense emotion -- excellent all around. But where the heck is she now? She hasn't published for a couple of years, and I'm waiting desperately for the next one!

It's the usual story, but especially well done. He is the magnificently handsome Marquess of Warwick who's bored with all the easy conquests. She is Gwendolyn Tarrant, a stunningly beautiful young widow who is virtuous. He wants her for his mistress, of course she'll settle for nothing less than marriage. I'll be on the look out for other books by this author.
