THIS IS HER BEST ALBUM SO FAR AND A MUST HAVE. HER VOICE IS ABSOLUTELY LOVELY. I LIKED HER ALBUM PREMIERE VERY MUCH, BUT THIS ONE IS EVEN BETTER AS THE CHOICE OF SONGS IS EXCELLENT. HER PERFORMANCE OF HOUSE OF NO REGRETS, CALON LAN, LAUDATE DOMINUM, O HOLY NIGHT AND YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE IS GREAT AND NOT TO BE MISSED.

This album is one of the best from 2004. Katherine Jenkins is a great new talent! Her voice is warm and beautiful. She'd make a perfect Carmen. Time to say goodbye is gorgeous and she sings my favourite carol, O holy night really beautifully! Katherine Jenkins is a lovely, warm hearted girl and you can hear that warmth in her voice. She sings the best Arenjuaz and Caruso! Song to the moon is hauntingly beautiful and her voice totally shines on it!

I must say this is by far my favorite album. She has improved her vocal skills from her first album to this album. Katherine Jenkins definitely impressed me with her singing of Seguidilla, she sings with an exquisite technique. I have the "LA Diva" album and I had to get this release because of the added tracks of Vide Cor Meum, Barcarolle, and O Holy Night!

Having shown promise with her debut album Premiere, Katherine enhanced her growing reputation with this follow-up. The enclosed booklet contains full lyrics, complete with English translations where the original lyrics are in another language (Welsh, Italian or whatever). It is particularly interesting to read the translation of O sole mio, which is nothing like any English lyrics normally associated with the tune, most famously by Elvis Presley (It's now or never). Note that there are no lyrics for Hymn to the fallen, on which Katherine's vocals are limited to ah-ah and similar sounds, only much better than I can describe it.

Katherine sings four of the songs in English. O holy night is the Christmas classic. You'll never walk alone is the Rodgers and Hammerstein song that became s British number one hit for Gerry and the Pacemakers, but which is best known now as a football anthem. I know that Katherine has performed at a cup final at least once, so it made sense for her to put this song on an album. I don't remember hearing the other two English-language songs (House of no regrets, Song to the moon) elsewhere, but they are definitely worth hearing.

Classical purists may deride Katherine and other crossover singers, but there is no doubt that she takes classical and operatic music to people that the specialist singers cannot reach. Katherine may eventually decide to take her career in a different direction, or she may decide to do other things with her life, but while she continues on her present course, she will continue to popularize classical music in Britain and elsewhere.

Excellent CD. Katherine Jenkins is a wonderful singer. The CD arrived fast without any problems in excellent condition.

La segunda gran entrega que esta gran Diva de la musica clasica nos ha dado; que magnifica seleccion de canciones y que voz mas preciosa!! entre las canciones mas maravillosas estan "EN ARANJUEZ CON TU AMOR" (Mi favorita, que gran interpretacion y excelente orquestracion), "O SOLE MIO" (Pura italia!), "TIME TO SAY GOODBYE" (Simplemente fabulosa), "BARCAROLLE" (Una de las mejores versiones que he oido de esta pieza), "VA PENSIERO" (Que elegancia), "O HOLY NIGHT" (me trajo muy bellos recuerdos de mis navidades pasadas) y "VIDE COR MEUM" (que duo mas fantastico hace ella con el tenor que la acompaña); Katherine siempre nos sorprende con su voz, su belleza y sobre todo con su carisma, y deseo que su paso a WARNER MUSIC produzca bellezas igual de maravillosas que las que produjo en su increible periodo con UNIVERSAL.

Go to a local music store and listen to this album and you will buy it. I am sorry that Amazon dosen't have samples here.

I find Second Nature to be a better CD from Kathrine then her frist.Songs on this one are better and show off her voice more then her first Cd.My fave song's on this Cd are Time To Say Goodbye,House of No Regrets,En Aranjuez con tu amor,Song to the Moon,Calon Lan,Hymn to the Fallen, O Holy Night,You'll Never Walk Alone.
