Cooper has been having nightmares about the kidnapping of a young girl. At first she thinks it is just a dream, but then it happens while she's wide awake and she knows who the girl is. The girl is Elizabeth Sanger and she wants Cooper to help find her. The police have a suspect but Elizabeth says it's someone else. The only problem is Elizabeth's anger at the person was so powerful that it overwhelmed cooper before she could identify him or her. So now Cooper is pulling a Nancy Drew and is almost killed when she, along with Kate and Annie, get to close. But once Cooper gets an idea about what's going on, Annie turns up missing and the only way to get her back safely is for Cooper to communicate with Elizabeth again. But Cooper's afraid that she will be overwhelmed again. Will she be able to overcome her fears in time to save Annie? This is my favorite book in the series so far; it gives you enough clues to let you figure out who did it before they tell you. I wish the fourth book were out already.

Cooper Rivers been having nightmeres. Very vivid nightmere's where she can feel, taste and smell what's going on. SHe dosen't think much of them until she starts seeing a girl whenever she looks into flames. She soon learns that this girl is Elizabeth, a 15-year-old who was kidnapped and possibly killed. She dosen't know what to do but she knows she needs to help Elizabteh before it's too late. Can Cooper use her visions for good. Or will someone use it to expose her and the circle of three.

I consider this book to be the best in the series. It's nice to see an adventure that has Cooper as the main charecter. The new charecters (such as a nosy reporter who truley is the Rita Skeeter of the series) are entertaining and I hope they come back in later in the series. I can't wait until the next book in the series, What the Cards said, comes out. It stars Annie, who is my favriote charecter.

Cooper is turning many corners in her life. She is turning sixteen, having nightmares, learning what it means to be a part of a religion outside of the mainstream, and that with great power comes great responsibility.

In Second Sight, book three in the Circle of Three Series, author Isobel Bird cleverly blends the facts of how the Wiccan religion is practiced today, with enough fantasy to keep readers spellbound. It's a simple whodunnit with a magical twist.

Cooper can't seem to get a handle on her latest Wiccan lesson on scrying. But at the same time, she is having nightmares connected to the disappearance of a teenage girl. The visions begin to surface even while she is awake. With the help of her circle friends and her Wiccan elders at the Crones' Circle bookstore, can Cooper develop the strength and self confidence necessary to control these visions? Cooper finds that magical development doesn't come easy and sometimes with a high price attached.

Bird is providing a narrow, but accurate window into how the Craft is practiced today. These books give one of the most nonsensationalized representations of Wicca I've seen yet. Bird also accurately portrays many of the difficulties teens face when they wish to explore Wicca.

If you haven't read books one and two in this series, don't worry, this story stands alone on it's own and you will not feel too lost. But if you find the subject of Witchcraft and Wicca fascinating, you will want to read the other books in this series as well.

This book was really interesting, my favorite of the three I read. I stopped reading the series after the third book because, well, there are just too many too keep track of! Plus, the first two books and the begining of the third are just... boring. The plot is about how a girl named Elizabeth dissapears one night, and Cooper starts getting weird dreams about her and where she might be. Cooper, in turn, takes it upon herself to find the missing teenager. Can Cooper find her? If she does- will she still be alive an undamaged? Read the book to find out (...)

When a girl at Cooper, Kate, and Annie's school disappears, Cooper keeps thinking she's seeing her. One day her vision of Elizabeth becomes so intense, she has to tell someone. When she and a few of her coven friends follow her visions, they lead to something terrifying. Can Cooper figure out who killed Elizabeth?
Or will they get out with more than just that?

I just found the first three books in this series this week, when they came into my local bookstore and the manager showed them to me. She thought I would like them because I'm into the supernatural. I took them home and read all three one after the other. I liked the first two, but this one is definitely my favorite. It's a fantastic ghost story, but it's also a great story about being a teenager into witchcraft. I've never read ANYTHING like these books, and I can't wait for the rest of the series.

As with her other Circle of Three Books, the author is telling the story of three high school girls becoming active with the Wiccan Religion. The story is ok, though not the most exciting. I give her good marks for not resorting to Hollywood special effects type of magick and striving to be more accurate in the depiction of Wicca than similar books. Probably the most unbelievable part, three high school girls under 18 being allowed to study with a coven (highly unlikely without parental written permission, if even then), has to be accepted with a willing suspension of disbelief for the series to work.

I love this book. I love murder mystery type books anyway. This is great reading. Learning more about wicca and magic. Learning how to use her second sight to find the person who murdered Elizabeth. I just could not stop reading. Books 1 and 2 are great as well but this one was the best. It is best to read all three but you could just get this book and understand a lot of what is going on. Isobel Bird is good at bringing you up to date on what has been going on. Sure you will miss some great things but you will kinda understand. Thanks for another great book Isobel. Looking forward to Book 4 in April.

The book was great and i recommmend it to any one who has read the first two. But the reson i wrote this is does any one notice the simulation between Second Sight and Dark Magick(Sweep4). Expeculy the sprying with fire?

This was my favorite of the Circle of Three serise. I like the way Cooper tries so hard to help someone shes never meet. Espachaly when the person is the way Elizabith Zanger is. What I liked most is even thoe all the emmothines Elizabith had was affecting Cooper she never gave up. When she had to savew Annie she proved to be braver then even she knew. She all so found out her anger is part of her strangth. This is the ultamit must read for any fantacy and Wicca fan. You won't be abule to put it down I know I couldn't.
