Book Description

November 1, 1995
Not just a continuation of First Thunder, this visionary work is more akin to myth than pure fiction. Its non-linear form expands ideas of time, space and the self into the realm of mutidimensional consciousness.

The conflicts and challenges faced by the god-like beings in this story represent warring aspects of our own fragmented personalities. The need for the healing of the self is out-pictured here to be recognzed by the reader at the heart level - not merely intellectually.

'In terms of visionary experience, re-centering occurs through the process of identifying the different internal characters, descarding those who do not serve the growth proces, strengthening those who do, destroying that which is useless, creating that which is useful.' -- MSI

5.0 out of 5 stars A quantum leap from First Thunder, May 28, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Second Thunder (Paperback)
I very much enjoyed First Thunder, as it was simply stated. Of course, that is the message isn't it - Ascension is easy. Reading Second Thunder should have felt like a sequel. It wasn't. It was a whole new experience.

Intricate story patterns woven into one simple message - it's time to awaken and remember who we are! A remarkable process - I read it in 3 days. I didn't intend to - I just couldn't put it down. And now I could go back and read it again!

Highly recommended for enjoyable reading, and for the message it contains. If it seems complex when you start - let go of the need to contain and analyze the story. Just let it happen! And then it will - guaranteed!

5.0 out of 5 stars First Thurder gone bullistic!, June 5, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: Second Thunder (Paperback)
You like First Thunder. You're ready to continue the journey. But hold your hats and bucket up! This is not your average sequel. This story will have SF fans begging for more, and more is coming. Third Thunder will be out next week! The adventure truly continues, and well worth the wait

5.0 out of 5 stars I love the Thunder series!, February 8, 2011
This review is from: Second Thunder (Paperback)
It took me a few moments after I began this book to realize it wasn't anything like the first book. At first I was totally let down, I loved the characters of the first book. But once I got over letting them go and letting the world go, as I know it, I was deeply pleased. I constantly had to let go of any ideas I had and just let go into MSI's story. It was awesome to fall into a story that speaks to the heart so loudly and invites the mind to just follow.

I will have to admit, of the Thunder series this was the most challenging read for me. Maybe it is because I like to read them in order and there is such a contrast from the first to the second book. Yet once I settle in I devour the book as well as those that follow. The rest of the series just continues to take you further and further out into the world of the unknown, undiscovered.
