More About the Author

Jessica Kehinde Ngo, a writer and English professor, is an identical twin with a Nigerian-American background. After 17 years of living in Bakersfield, California, she moved to Malibu in 2002 to study Creative Writing at Pepperdine University. Upon graduating in 2006, she entered the Master of Professional Writing program at the University of Southern California and became obsessed with dissecting her cultural and social (twin) background, therefore embarking on the journey that became a short story, which later evolved into Second Twin, First Twin--her first book. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her French husband (the love of her life), where she teaches English and writing at a handful of local community colleges and busies herself with thoughts of her next writing journey.
