I wished I had known before!
An excellent book with some very good insights into an adjustment as a second wife. I wish I had known about this book before I married and it would have helped me avoid some of the problems that come with a second marriage, new families, etc. I bought this book again to have it sent to a friend of mine who was having difficulty in her adjustment as a second wife.

Too religious, not what I expected
Way too religious. Didn't get anything out of the book. It seemed very dated and alot of the stories were from older people - over 60. I'm 43 and live in a city, and couldn't relate to all the farm stories, bible passages, etc.
