It started going downhill in S7 when scott caan was given a role as "one of the gang" --- not quite sure how he got the gig but he must be buds with Mark Wahlberg or something. It just did not feel true to life that someone like that would just waltz into the crew and be accepted and in S8 it got worse. 2 late 20 somethings take over a major talent agency from a lifetime industry veteran. The writers were getting lazy at this point.

Then adding Andrew Dice Clay into the mix was just laughable - I guess again Mr Wahlberg was just doing this sad old freak a favor!

Overall a great series and if you watched the first 6 by all means watch the last 2 but be warned the writers got lazy and watching scott caan is painful !

As the writers kept piling on more and more plot twists and throwing additional obstacles in our main characters' way during Season 8, I had to wonder how they were going to tie up all the loose ends. Answer: very haphazardly. For all its bravado, this is a series that thrived on believable characters. But in the end they all succumb to unbelievably quick character reversals that leave me wishing Season 8 would have had fewer surprises and more thoughtful scripting.

Kind of ends without ending. It kind of leaves you waiting for more, but a very good season, nonetheless.

By season 8, the characters are well defined, and play off each other brilliantly. E has love trouble. Vinny finds love that he actually has to work for. Ari is finally accountable for the fact that he's the worlds most gigantic prick, and you loving him more for it.

Overall, this was a pretty satisfying season finale. Not breaking bad, but more good times. It's tough to see a good show like this go, but 8 seasons was enough.

I thought this season was lazy, so few episodes and it felt like the attitude when creating it was just 'hurry up and wrap up all the loose ends". The actors were great as always, so I guess it was the writing/directing that gave it this rushed feel. Sad it's over though, they had a great idea and executed the other 7 seasons flawlessly, so entertaining!

I will start off by saying I loved the show and watched every episode of every season.

The early seasons followed a story line but each episode was pretty much independent of each other.

The last two seasons were fun to watch, but seem to be hampered by the need to tie up loose ends in all the characters lives all at once. I believe entourage to be one of HBO's best series.

I am excited to watch the movie.
