This review is from: The Secrecy of Evil, the Qabala and its Followers: the Knights Templars, Illuminati, Freemasonry, and other Secret Societies from Early to Modern Times (Paperback)
There is no book called Qabala. Qabala (also spelled Cabala, Kabbalah) is a SYSTEM of philosophy which tries to understand the metaphysics of God. It's practioners study ancient texts, LIKE THE TORAH OR OLD TESTAMENT.
And for the other reviewer who mentioned George Bush; it's common knowledge both he and his dad were members of Yales Skull and Bones society. The building which houses the society has many decorative and architectural symbols that are derived from Freemason symbology. The US system of government was created by many who were Freemasons, and they belief of equality, freedom, democracy were Masonic goals. I suggest if you don't like this than you can emigrate to some country that still has a working monarchy.
If you want to know more about Kabbalah you're much better off getting a scholarly work by a religious scholar like Gershom Scholem.

1.0 out of 5 stars an idiotic book, October 19, 2004
This review is from: The Secrecy of Evil, the Qabala and its Followers: the Knights Templars, Illuminati, Freemasonry, and other Secret Societies from Early to Modern Times (Paperback)
I read this "book"(tract) from cover to cover. After doing so I came to the conclusion that I, a none Moslem, know more about the Islamic Faith, the faith of such great thinkers as Avicena, Al Ghazali and Mohammed Abu Nasr El Farabi, than Alomari knows about the Jewish Faith.Yet, I would never have the monumental chutzpa to presume to write a book about Islam or its mystical Sufi manifestation, because of my meager knowledge. Alomari writes that the holy martyr, Rabbi Akiva, was a devil worshiper. Rabbi Akiva was crucified by the Romans in the year 135, almost 500 years before the birth of the Founder of the Islamic Faith. He died on the cross proclaiming the oneness of G-d.( Tawhid?) And, indeed, Jews had been worshipping the one true G-d for thousands of years before Rabbi Akiva. This is an anti semitic book, combining anti-semitism with stale conspiracy theories, that have been around for years and are all over the web.Playing silly semantic games will not change the definition of anti-semitism. It is the philosophy that led to the slaughter of over 6 million Jews, just 50 years ago. The fact that several of the reviewers feel that this vile, odious screed is a true representation of Judaism tells us little about this book, but much about the depth of their ignorance and hatred. Devil worshippers, indeed!

2.0 out of 5 stars Very thin scholarship, September 29, 2001
This review is from: The Secrecy of Evil, the Qabala and its Followers: the Knights Templars, Illuminati, Freemasonry, and other Secret Societies from Early to Modern Times (Paperback)
I was excited to get this book - I mean for [amt.]+ shipping and a long title it should have some solid writing, information and references.

Boy, what a mistake!

The subject is interesting, and Alomari does hit the high points of the topics. But, that's where it ends! The writing is very thin, and nonsubstantial. The pages (only 111 of them) have very large type and empty pages between the chapters.

Truth is, I did not even finish the book! I got 2/3 's of the way through and found it was like reading a final history paper written by the student the night before it was due.

I gave the book 2 stars only because the subject itself is facinating. And, the book could be helpful for someone trying to get an overview on the subject. On the plus side, it is very readable.

But, it isn't worth the [amt.] plus shipping for that. You can get this info. off the web in a few hours. Save you money and check into some of the other books on the subject.

1.0 out of 5 stars This book is Rubbish, July 21, 2001

This review is from: The Secrecy of Evil, the Qabala and its Followers: the Knights Templars, Illuminati, Freemasonry, and other Secret Societies from Early to Modern Times (Paperback)
Mohammad Alomari has written trash claiming to be scholarship. There never was a book called the Qabalah as it comes from the oral teachings of Judaism and the schools of the prophets. The Old and New Testaments are filled with Qabalistic symbols and numerology. For example the numbers 22 and 32 have major significance. I advise people to read books here on Jewish and Christian Qabalah to get an idea of what I am talking about to gain proper understanding.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poorly Researched, Poorly Written, Good Kindling Material, October 13, 2002

This review is from: The Secrecy of Evil, the Qabala and its Followers: the Knights Templars, Illuminati, Freemasonry, and other Secret Societies from Early to Modern Times (Paperback)
Mr. Alomari's book is totally unremarkable in it's contribution to scholarly research regarding the "Qabala". His narrow minded and subjective views of several "secret" orders are so off the mark, that I would only use this book as an example of "An Idiot's Guide to Ignorance". Readers researching the subject matter of this book would be best advised to look elsewhere. Mr. Alomari's one redeeming attribute is his unique ability to take short, incomplete bits of information and present them totally out of context.

1.0 out of 5 stars Nutcase, Anti-Semite Author is U.S. Attorney's Buddy, October 20, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: The Secrecy of Evil, the Qabala and its Followers: the Knights Templars, Illuminati, Freemasonry, and other Secret Societies from Early to Modern Times (Paperback)
This book alternates between flat-out nutty conspiracy theories and blatant anti-Semitism, not surprising given that the author also wrote an article, entitled "Jews in the Bush Administration." (Hint: He didn't write it to point out to whom to send Hanukkah cards.) The author, Mohammed Alomari, according to the NYPOST, is connected with a Michigan charity, LIFE for Relief and Development, which is under investigation for money laundering to HAMAS.

In addition to saying democracy, the founding of America, and most of the U.S. founding fathers are part of a Jewish conspiracy, this book also contains such scholarly gems as: "The George Washington Monument Obelisk. It represents the m'magical' phallus, Lucifer's generative force. . . . The Washington Obelisk phallus overlooks the White House Oval Office, the symbol of the female reproductive force." (Well maybe it did under President Clinton.)

The question is: Why is U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Collins, the top prosecutor of terrorism cases in the Detroit area, hanging out with this guy? (You can see his smiling pose with Author Mohammed Alomari on New York Post journalist/attorney Debbie Schlussel's website, debbieschlussel.com, or in the faair.org March 2003 newsletter.) And why are Congressmen John Conyers and John Dingell (with wife, Debbie Fisher Dingell) smiling for the cameras with Alomari (who worked on Dingell's campaign as part of the Arab-American PAC)? Why did this nutcase conspiracy theorist and open Jew-hater get a meeting with the management at top Detroit radio station, WWJ (also pictured on faair.org's March 2003 newsletter)? Is there no vetting of such people in Detroit, for fear of being un-PC to radical Islamists like this author, Mohammed Alomari? Must be the case, since everywhere, in all the pictures of the above-mentioned meetings, he's accompanied by his good friend Imad Hamad, Midwest Regional Director of the American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (the guy U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Collins called "a great American," even though, according to the NY POST, Hamad is the subject of over a dozen ongoing terrorism-related investigations and the INS fought his citizenship for over 22 YEARS(!) because it has a video of him fundraising for and identifying himself as a member of terrorist group, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine).

Can anyone say, "Protocols of the Elders of Zion"? This is the modern-day version (but cheap imitation) of that sorry tome. Question: Does U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Collins agree with what is contained in this book? Sure seems like it. But if not, then he should stop hanging out with the author and his friend Imad Hamad and stop hailing them as "great Americans."

5.0 out of 5 stars reveiw on Secrecy of Evil, December 2, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: The Secrecy of Evil, the Qabala and its Followers: the Knights Templars, Illuminati, Freemasonry, and other Secret Societies from Early to Modern Times (Paperback)
by M. Alomari is a must reading for all those who wish to understand what is going on in the world today. Today's wars and upheavals have their roots in an ancient conspiracy. When former President George Bush uttered the phrase " New World Order," he was restating an ancient goal of certain secret societies. The Secrecy of Evil explains the New World Order Conspiracy and the secret societies orchestrating it. It traces the early origins of these secret societies thousands of years ago to a certain group of Hebrew priests and explains their hidden Luciferian religion. The Secrecy of Evil explains the ancient mystic book of these Hebrew priests, called the Qabala, and details the doctrine of Qabalism and the secret groups that use the Qabala, like Freemasonry, the Knights Templars, the Illuminati, and many others. The Secrecy of Evil is an easy to read primer on the world-wide conspiracy and the origins and beliefs of these secret groups whose aim is to establish a one world order Luciferian dictatorship and to enslave all those outside their lodges and temples.

1.0 out of 5 stars Should be in the Humor Section, October 20, 2003

This review is from: The Secrecy of Evil, the Qabala and its Followers: the Knights Templars, Illuminati, Freemasonry, and other Secret Societies from Early to Modern Times (Paperback)
This weird book should never have been printed. Mr Alomari obviously knows nothing about the Kabbala. He has grafted Moslem paranoid fantasies about the Jews on to the usual new world order conspiracy BS. It would be a funny book if it did not reflect the bizarre fantasies that animate the world of Islam, witness the recent speech by Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Prime minister of Malasia and the positive review by a resident of Dearborn MI USA, the largest concentrati0on of Arabs in the USA.

1.0 out of 5 stars Extremist Book by Extremist Defended by Islamo-Fascists, October 19, 2004
This review is from: The Secrecy of Evil, the Qabala and its Followers: the Knights Templars, Illuminati, Freemasonry, and other Secret Societies from Early to Modern Times (Paperback)
Hmmmmmm. . . . "Bob Reader," a shill for CAIR -- the Council on "American" Islamo-Fascist Relations, a HAMAS front-group funded by Saudi Arabia -- likes this bizarre, amateurish piece of anti-American, anti-Semitic hate propaganda. How interesting. That should tell any prospective Amazon buyer everything he/she needs to know. Save your money and buy some Halal Chicken and Ginsu steakknives instead, so you can practice your beheading skills, like "Bob Reader" apparently is. And BTW, Debbie Schlussel is a great investigator, journalist, and commentator, especially on this issue. It's people like Mohammed, er,"Bob Reader" (not his real name, guaranteed) who go into conniptions, verbal and otherwise, when their cover -- and true views about us Infidels -- is blown -- when they have to go back under the rock from which they crawled. Why is this person so upset if she, indeed, infiltrated their group in disguise? Do they ("Bob" and CAIR) have something to hide? Apparently, they do. Why are they, including this author's (Mohammed Alomari's) best friend, Shereef Akeel, honoring Imam Siraj Wahhaj, a co-conspirator in the '93 WTC Bombing? This book is vile trash, and so are those that read it (much less recommend it), including "Bob" and the rest of the modern-day Klan, the Islamo-fascist Klan. The real Klan. Their hoods are called Kefiyehs, Burqas, Hijabs, and Abayas. Ladies and Gentleman, Elvis has left the building, and the new Nazis have entered it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Starter Book to Research on Secret Societies, October 13, 2004
This review is from: The Secrecy of Evil, the Qabala and its Followers: the Knights Templars, Illuminati, Freemasonry, and other Secret Societies from Early to Modern Times (Paperback)
This is an excellent put together book. It is brief yet provides enough detailed information to explain what is going on behind the scenes. The author also provides many references in the back of the book to allow the reader to do his/her own research. The author has obviously done extensive research in these subjects; yet he has summarized it in an effective way to educate the interested reader, in an easy to understand style.

Side note: This site is for Amazon.com customers and readers not for hateful opportunists who try to bash other people because of their ethnic background, like the fascist Debbie Schlussel who wrote the review below. She is writes the book review like it is her own website. Get over it Debbie, this is NOT your website; so stop advertising your rascist Arab-bashing (may I say anti-Semitism since Arabs are Semites) on Amazon. What is great about America is the right to say what you want, but do it on your own rags.

Debbie, who has a column called "Debbie Does Politics" (like "Debbie Does Dallas"), feels it so important to bash Arabs that she went and dressed up in hair-covering hijab (Muslim covering) using a false alias "Zainab Salih" to attend an Arab dinner function in October 2004, so she can libel more people (Debbie can't deny it because the BBC had her on camera in full head-gear). That's all she is good for, libeling people (even Arab-American Congressmen) and going into racist and fascist tirades.

The only difference between Debbie and the KKK, is that they wear hoods. Amazon is for its customers and readers, so keep your garbage to your rags.
