A Kid's Review
This review is from: Secret Adventures: Honesty Is Best Policy [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Hey! I have all the Secrect Adentures from Spin to Snag! The others ya'll have have not been out over here yet! But I'm waiting for them to show up in my Christian Book Store!
Say, "Hi" to Andrea Thomas (we call her "Drea") - seventh grader at Hampton Fall's Junior High and the most imaginative babysitter since Mary Poppoins, Drea has an unusal knack for winding up in the middle of things - link a wacky campaign for class president against Arlene Blake, "Miss.Popularity." When black mustaches "mysteriously" appears on all of Alrene's posters (thanks to Drea's campaign manager and best friend, Kimberly), Mrs.Long, the school principal, steps in and expresses disappointment in Drea's actions. But Drea really learns her lesson when she and her two babysitting regulars, Rebecca and Matt, take off on one of Drea's imaginative and animated "Secret Adevntures". Together, as a colorful fish in the ocean, they learn important lessons form Proverbs in wonderfully creative ways. With a new campaign strategy, Drea's election speech now ring's with honesty...but get ready for election results crazy enough to make even George Washington crack a smile.

Exemplary Value-oriented Programming, April 11, 2000

I have a 12-year old daughter. She has thoroughly enjoyed this series for several years and goes back to watch them regularly. As a parent, this series is unexcelled in its portrayal of family and school situations and the decisions we must all make in dealing with them. One problem is quite frankly that there are only seven or so of them. I defy you to find a better series for both parents & their children.

Great Movie, August 11, 1999

When this movie was over, my dad said that it was the best movie he had ever seen and that's compared to TITANIC and APOLLO 13 etc. We all loved it and we thought it was hilarious when Arlene autographed pictures of herself. We4 can't wait to see the others.
