5.0 out of 5 stars Packed with events and facts
The author of Secret Agent is a former diplomat who has written extensively on intelligence operations and history: this latest provides a presentation of the covert war against Hitler: the unconventional fighters of a top-secret agency designed to coordinate subversion and sabotage against Hitler. Chapters read almost like fiction but are packed with events and facts.

1.0 out of 5 stars Ouch
Either the author doesn't know about any successful missions, can't disclose them, or there weren't any because the entire book is about failed sabotage, agents dying because of bungling, and ineffective missions. I kept waiting for something good to happen and it never did. 90% of the text is dedicated to the backgrounds of the agents and bad training camps in Britain...
